Orders to Retype
They arrive by email, WhatsApp, phone. Someone retypes them into the management software by hand: hours lost every week, and mistakes the customer finds at delivery.
One Price List Is Not Enough
Wholesalers, shops, agents: each has their own terms. Standard e-commerce is built for private buyers and a single price.
Disconnected Software
Catalogue and stock updated twice, in two different places. One slip and you sell an item you no longer have.
A Portal That Works for You
Group Price Lists
Each customer sees only their own prices: different lists per group, minimum orders, sales and pre-orders with your rules.
Agent Area
Agents order on behalf of their customers, open new accounts in the field and apply discounts within the limits you set.
Approval-Based Sign-Up
The reseller requests access with their VAT number, you approve with one click and they land on the right price list. Anyone not approved sees no prices.
Linked to Your ERP
Catalogue, stock and orders in sync with your management software (Danea Easyfatt and others). Update once, the rest follows.
A Real Case: FC Moda
5 Price Lists, One Shop
On fc-moda.it every reseller sees their group’s prices, agents order for their customers and access requests are approved from a dashboard.
From 7 Seconds to 0.6
The customer-only shop took 7 seconds to open. After the work it takes 0.6, with the same prices verified across 1,255 products and 12 customer profiles.
In the App Too
The same portal is an app on the App Store and Google Play: customers order from their phone with their own price list, with no second system to keep updated.
How It Works
Process Analysis
How orders arrive today, how many price lists you have, what agents do, which management software you use. All in writing before any code.
Built in Stages
Price lists and orders first, then agents and your ERP. You test each stage with real customers on a copy of the site, without touching the one that is already selling.
Ongoing Support
I do not vanish after delivery: updates, security and new features for a monthly fee, as with the clients I already look after.
FAQ
How much does a B2B portal cost?
It depends on how many price lists, agents and integrations you need. A B2B portal done properly is a project worth a few thousand euros, not a few hundred. After our first meeting you get a written, fixed-price quote with milestones and timing.
Subscription B2B platform or a custom portal?
Subscription platforms work as long as the way you sell fits their mould. When you need your own rules (group price lists, minimum orders, agents, pre-orders) custom costs less over time: no per-user fee, and the code is yours.
Can I keep the shop for private customers too?
Yes. B2B and B2C can live on the same site: private buyers see their prices, approved resellers see theirs, and visitors who are not registered can see no prices at all. That is how fc-moda.it works.
Does it connect to my management software?
If your software exports or imports data (files, API, database), yes: catalogue, stock and orders stay in sync with no retyping. I have already done it with Danea Easyfatt; for other systems we check together before starting.
Can agents order on behalf of customers?
Yes. The agent logs into the portal, picks the customer (or creates a new one in the field) and orders with that customer’s price list, within the discounts you set. The order reaches you complete.
Are my prices safe?
Anyone who is not approved cannot see prices, neither on the pages nor through the shop APIs. On FC Moda we ran a full security review and closed even the less obvious paths prices could leak through.
