Mirror Photo
Load a photo, get it mirrored. It's for front-camera selfies, which the iPhone saves flipped compared to what you saw on screen. It also works with the iPhone's HEIC files, as well as JPEG, PNG and WebP. Everything happens in your browser: no photo is ever uploaded to a server.
Your images stay on your device.
On iPhone: use Save all to Photos — the photos land in your Photos library in one go. Download all instead creates a single ZIP file in Downloads (Safari will not download several separate files in a row: it would save only one).
The image is redrawn at its original resolution, so it loses no definition (with JPEG and WebP there is a recompression you can adjust with the quality slider; with PNG none at all). The EXIF data of the original — date, GPS, camera model — is not copied into the mirrored file: if you need it, keep the original too.
Why iPhone selfies look backwards
When you frame a shot with the front camera, the screen shows you a mirrored preview: you see yourself as you would in a mirror, because that is how you are used to seeing yourself. When you take the shot, though, the photo is saved the way the lens actually sees it — that is, flipped compared to the preview. The result: your hair parts on the wrong side, the mole is on the other cheek and any text in the frame can only be read in a mirror.
This tool does one thing and does it well: it flips the image on its horizontal axis and hands you back a file ready to save, at the same resolution as the original.
How to use it
- Drag one or more photos into the box (or click it and choose the files from your phone or computer).
- The horizontal flip is already on: you immediately see the before / after comparison.
- If needed, add a vertical flip or a 90°, 180° or 270° rotation.
- Download a single photo or all of them at once with Download all.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with iPhone HEIC files?
Yes. On iPhone and Mac the format is read directly by the browser; on Windows, Android and Linux the page decodes it on its own and gives you back a JPEG (or the format you choose). No need to convert anything first.
Are the photos uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser, on your device: no file leaves your phone or computer, and there is no server receiving them.
Does the photo lose quality?
The resolution stays identical. If you choose JPEG or WebP there is a new compression, at the quality you set (92% is already very high); if you choose PNG there is no loss at all, but the file is bigger.
Do rotated photos stay upright?
Yes. The orientation recorded by the camera (EXIF) is read and applied before flipping, so the photo comes out the way you see it.
How do I save all the photos at once on iPhone?
With Save all to Photos: the iOS share sheet opens and with «Save N images» they go straight into your Photos library. The Download all button instead creates a single ZIP file in Downloads. They are two different routes because Safari, for security, only lets one download through at a time: downloading the files one after another would save just one.
How many photos can I mirror?
Up to 20 at a time, with no usage limits and no sign-up. If you need more, just run it again.
